Fuchu He 박사는 현재 HUPO HLPP 공동의장이며, Molecular & Cellular Proteomics 의 편집위원, 중국HUPO 회장, 중국 유전체학회 부회장, 북경 인간 유전체 센터 부소장을 맡고 있다.

He 박사는 1982년 상하이에 있는 후단대 유전학과를 졸업하고, 베이징대 방사선 의약원에서 생화학으로 석사학위를, 세포생물학으로 박사학위를 취득 하였으며, 북경 프로테옴 연구센터 소장, 중국국립생의학분석센터장, 후단대 생의약원 소장을 역임하였다.

He 박사는 HUPO에서 초기 HLPP의장을 역임하여, 간 단백질체 연구에서 선도하는 기반을 마련하였다. 그리하여 중국내 국가기초과학연구비, 국가첨단연구개발사업, 중국자연과학재단으로부터 연구비를 수혜 하였다.

그의 주요 연구분야는 인간 간질환의 단백질체학, 유전체학, 생물정보학에 관한 연구이며, 그중에서 "Development-related evolution" of cytokines; "Co-evolution" of cytokines and their receptors; "Modulated evolution" of mRNA coding regions and their non-coding regions; "Slowing-down evolution" of molecules during phylogeny 등이 주 관심분야이다.

그는 Gastroenterology, EMBO J, Hepatology, FASEB J, Genome Research, Cancer Research, JBC, Oncogene, Bioinformatics, MCP, and PROTEOMICS, Electrophoresis 등 90여편의 학술논문 발표실적이 있다.
