Thomas William Jordan 박사는 현재 Victoria University of Wellington의 생명과학과 교수 이자 Biodiscovery center의 센터장으로 재직하고 있다.
Jordan 박사는 Victoria University of Wellington에서 학위 (BSc, MSc, PhD in Biochemistry)를 취득하였으며, 영국 University of London의 Queen Elizabeth college, Biochemistry Department에서 post doctoral fellow로 연구 활동을 계속하였다.
현재 관심 있는 연구 분야는 proteomics, metabolism, cell and molecular pathway이며, Journal proteomics, clinical proteomics (new 2006), practical proteomics (new 2007)의 editorial board member로 일하고 있으며, 현재 AOHUPO council member와 AOHUPO membrane proteomics initiative coordinator로 활동하고 있다.
