On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the Korean Human Organization
(KHUPO), it is my great pleasure to welcome all the speakers and
paticipants from the different part of the world and Korea. This
annual meeting will mark the 3rd Annual Meeting of KHUPO and will
pave the way for integrating New Technology of Proteomics and Its
Application to Bio-Medical Research. be the keystone of KHUPO.
We are very much confident that this meeting will be a useful vehicle
for disseminating information and knowledge pertaining to the human
proteome. Proteomics stages at the early growth phase with repect
to technology, training and Infrastructure in Korea. Our ultimate
goal will be to map and elucidate all the proteomes of different
organisms in order to understand the mechanism whereby many proteins
are involved in the human diesease.

We hope that your participation will certainly stimulate the field of
'Proteomics' and enhance the exchange of scientific ideas, technologies
and friendship.
This meeting will help us jump one big step towards the development of
proteomics core technology and cooperation among the scientists in this
field. Finally, I would like to thank Drs. Mike Dunn, Editor of 'Proteomics'
and Hans-Joachim Kraus, Senior Publishing Editor of Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH,
