I would like to remind everyone that the 9th AOHUPO conference will be held in Osaka, Japan from May 15 (Tuesday) - 18 (Friday). This meeting is called MSP2018 (https://www.jhupo.org/2018/english.html) and is held jointly with JPrOS2018 and MSSJ and Yasushi Ishihama is the convener of the conference. I urge all of you and your colleagues, postdocs and graduate students to attend this biannual meeting. Please disseminate this information to all your members either through your website or email. I am pleased to announce that the BGI-AOHUPO Travel Fellowship is open to applications. Students are strongly encouraged to apply. Information on this fellowship and the procedure for applying will be available on the AOHUPO website : www.aohupo.org/

This accommodation is limited and it is on a 'first come first served' basis, so we suggest you to book as early as possible.
One other important point to remember is the closing date for abstract submission. It is March 16, 17:00(Japan time). No late abstract will be entertained - very strict.
